Following an agreement between China and WorldSkills International, WorldSkills Members, media, and any other personnel with connectivity needs, will have access to uninterrupted and unhindered high-speed internet free of charge during the WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 preparatory meetings, Competition Preparation Week, and the Competitions, as well as at hotels, office areas, and competition venues.

At the same time, Shanghai is improving its ICT infrastructure in order to stage smart competitions via modern technologies such as big data and cloud computing, and enhancing the experience of Competitors and audiences alike.
